Target Audience

My target audience for this project will be males and females under 25 years old. I have found some research of films of the horror genre which reach this target audience:

The specific UK tribe that will be my target audience are "Townies" because they are the most mainstream group of youth. This is due to their high street fashion, pop chart music, Saturday night TV and going out. They are a slower moving group than other youths and so they are more likely to settle down alone or with friends on a Saturday evening to watch films. Their "go with the flow" attitude means they are more likely to watch a horror film if it is on and not too bothered about the content.
